The Master's Programme in Automation and Electrical Engineering is organized by the School of Electrical Engineering. The programme contains three (3) majors:
- Control, Robotics and Autonomous Systems
- Electrical Power and Energy Engineering
- Electronic and Digital Systems (from 1.8.2020)
- Translational Engineering (until 31.7.2020)
The Master of Science degree consists of 120 ECTS and is recommended to be completed within two years of full-time studies.
This website is mainly aimed at the students of the programme. The site contains the student study guide for the master’s programme with materials and instructions on all the majors available in the programme. Here you will find the programme curriculum as well as detailed guidelines for planning your studies.
The Degree Programme Committee is responsible for the development of the programme along with general development initiatives at the School of Electrical Engineering. The programme committee has student representatives ("hallopeds") who are recruited yearly by the AYY.
By becoming a student representative, you can take part in the programme development. You can also contact the current representatives to put forward proposals and to give feedback. Through course feedback and study wellbeing survey (for first year MSc students) you can also influence teaching practices and programme management.
