The Mikkeli BScBA degree program focuses on a single major: international business. The main goal of the program is to produce graduates who are successful in international business.

Most BScBA courses are taught in the form of intensive three-week modules that run through the entire calendar year. All courses comply with ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) guidelines as established by the Aalto University School of Business. The main principle of the ECTS-based credit system is that one academic year of studies comprises 1600 hours of work by an average student and gives 60 ECTS credits. The number of student workload hours expected for a course worth 6 ECTS is 160 hours (including class hours and all other requirements as stipulated by the instructor).
