Prospective graduate students (outside Aalto)

If you are a prospective graduate student you can apply to the programme. The application period is once a year from December to January for studies starting in the following autumn term. Bachelor students at Aalto University

1. Bachelor's programme in Engineering: major Mechanical and Building Technology
If you have graduated or are about to graduate from the Bachelor's programme in Engineering majoring in Mechanical and Building Technology (kone- ja rakennustekniikka, KJR) you can continue your studies in the Master's programme in Building Technology. 2. Bachelor's programme in Engineering: other majors
If you have graduated or are about to graduate from the Bachelor's programme in Engineering majoring in Energy and Environmental Technology (energia- ja ympäristötekniikka, ENY) or in Built Environment (rakennetty ympäristö, RYM) you can apply to continue your studies in the Master's programme in Building Technology providing that you have completed at least 25 credits of courses required by the master's programme (siirtymäpaketti). 3. Bachelor's programme at another school of technology
Bachelor students within the field of science and technology can continue their studies in the Master's programme in Building Technology if they have completed the minor rakennustekniikan sivuaine and their Bachelor's degree with a total GPA of 3,0 or higher.
