The purpose of TOKYOs existence is to act as a link in between its members and to encourage the students of School of Arts, Design and Architecture to encounter with the alumni of their field. TOKYO arranges support to studies and monitors both education policy and educational matters. Among other things the association's activities include co-operation with Student Union AYY and Aalto University.

In addition to providing a shoulder to cry on, TOKYO also takes care that our student culture shines bright like a diamond. The TOKYO folks are known to be very pleasant, funny and oh so wonderful bunch of people. Thus, it is natural that they meet on a regular basis to spend time together, would it be for Finland's biggest masquerade (aka Arabia Maskerad) or some smallern scale events (such as lunch discos or The teacher of the Year -ballot).

TOKYO also runs vegetarian restaurant Kipsari and cinema Kino Sheryl. And spreads the dust of love all over the place.

More information about membership and TOKYOs actions in general can be found from TOKYOs website.
