From BSc degree to MSc degree

The students of Aalto School of Business, who have been admitted to study BSc degree, have the right to continue to the MSc degree programmes. However, they will be granted a study right to a MSc degree programme only after completing the BSc degree and graduating.

When applying for the bachelor’s diploma, the student informs the Student Services of the Master’s programme the student would like to continue in. Please, notice that there are certain preconditions to some of the MSc Programmes (see the list below).

Starting Master’s level studies

Students can begin taking some MSc courses when they have earned 150 credits or more for the bachelor’s degree. However, students who have not been granted a study right to a MSc degree programme can only take MSc minor studies (24 cr) and MSc compulsory core courses (12 cr). Degree programme courses can be taken after completing the whole BSc degree (after graduating).
