Content and structure of the minor
This minor is meant for students who already have completed BSc or minor in Economics. The precondition is that the previous studies include both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and sufficient methodological studies (31C01100 Mathematics for economists or equivalent, as well as introductory Econometrics).
A minor in economics provides an understanding of fundamental economic theories and institutions, as well as an ability to apply the information analytically in practical settings. It qualifies students to understand the connection between micro- and macroeconomic questions as well as to see the causality between such questions. The minor study module in economics develops both analytical thinking and academic insights.
