Description of the programme

In the future, at School of Business strategy is taught in Global Management/CEMS Programme, and Management and International Business (MIB) Master's Programme. At School of Science strategy is taught in Strategy and Venturing major of the Master's Programme in Industrial Engineering and Management. Technically this means the Strategy Master's Programme at Aalto Biz and the Strategy major at School of Science are terminated.

For the existing students, this renewal will bring only minimal changes. BIZ students can continue their studies according to the existing curriculum and graduate from the program until 31.7.2021. After this date, the remaining students are automatically transferred to the MIB programme.

Programme objectives
The goal of the Master’s programme in Strategy is to train and develop experts in the domain of strategic management, apt to thrive and succeed in today’s constantly changing and increasingly complex business environment. In addition to analytical skills and knowledge of key ideas in business and organizations, the programme is also designed to develop participants’ intercultural and interpersonal sensitivities, behaviours, attitudes as well as international connections and networks. Programme is also cross-disciplinary, building connections between strategy students in School of Business and School of Science.
