Digital Business Master Class (47E00100) is a masters-level intensive course (6 ECTS) focusing on digital technologies as tools for building businesses. Challenge-based learning is at the heart of the course experience: the lectures and workshops are interactive, and students get to apply their knowledge to real-life company projects in international teams. 

During the Digital Business Master Class, students explore topics including platform business models, data-intensive business, data-driven marketing and leadership in the digital age. In addition to business topics, students learn design thinking to build their project solutions. The DBMC is open to students of all fields, but basic business knowledge is required to keep up with the pace of the lectures and project work.

Project work begins with individual background research in February, followed by intensive teamwork in March. Read more on the course website:

The course consists of self-paced pre-work and post-work and two intensive weeks of lectures and project work in teams. 

7-18 February: Pre-work

  • Individual research for the team project

7-18 March: Lectures & Project work

  • Daily lectures (Mon-Fri at 9:00-12:00). Due to the interactive and intensive nature of the course, there is an 80% attendance requirement on the course. Participating in the project-related classes on Mon 7.3., Tue 8.3. and Fri 18.3. is mandatory.
