Kaikki kesällä pidettävät tentit löydät Oodista, jossa niihin voi myös ilmoittautua. Jotkut koulut järjestävät erityisiä kesätenttipäiviä, jolloin järjestetään samaan aikaan paljon tenttejä. SCI:n kesätenttipäivät ovat 7.6.2018 ja 13.8.2018 (jos sinulla on jotain kysyttävää näihin liittyen, otathan yhteyttä Tiina Hartikaiseen). Kauppatieteellisiä opintoja avoimessa

Kauppatieteellisen alan kesäopetuksen järjestää Aalto-yliopiston avoin yliopisto. Aalto-yliopiston avoimen yliopiston kesän  kauppatieteellisen alan kursseille ja kirjatentteihin on maksuttomia paikkoja Aalto-yliopiston kauppakorkeakoulun läsnä oleville tutkinto-opiskelijoille. Kurssitarjonta ja ilmoittautumisohjeet löytyvät Aalto-yliopiston avoimen yliopiston sivuilta maaliskuun alusta lähtien.

Muut kuin Kauppakorkeakoulun tutkinto-opiskelijat voivat suorittaa kauppatieteen alan opintoja Aalto-yliopiston avoimessa yliopistossa ilmoittautumalla kursseille ja maksamalla avoimen kurssimaksun.

Aallon kandiopiskelija: Suorita sivuaine Mikkelissä kesällä 2017!

Aalto-yliopiston kauppakorkeakoulun Mikkelin yksikössä on tarjolla 24 op:n englanninkielinen kokonaisuus Minor in International Business. IB-sivuopintokokonaisuus on suunnattu Aalto-yliopiston koulutusohjelmien kandidaattitason opiskelijoille, ja se valmistaa opiskelijoita vastaamaan liiketoiminnan vaatimuksiin globaaleilla markkinoilla sekä antaa pohjan syventävämmän tason opinnoille aihepiiristä.   Avoimen yliopiston tarjoama kesäopetus

Aalto-yliopiston avoin yliopisto järjestää opetusta myös kesäisin. Opetusta tarjotaan kaikilla aloilla painottuen kauppatieteelliseen alaan. Avoimen yliopiston kautta suoritetut opinnot ovat opiskelijalle maksullisia. Kauppakorkeakoulun läsnäoleville tutkinto-opiskelijoille on tarjolla maksuttomia paikkoja tietyille kauppatieteellisen alan kursseille ja kirjatentteihin. Mahdolliset tulevan kesän maksuttomat kesäopetuspaikat varmistuvat yleensä maaliskuun alkupuolella ja ilmoittautuminen alkaa huhtikuussa.

FITech Summer Boost: Technology and Business Models of Autonomous Ships

Looking for something totally new to do next summer? Are you interested in the future of marine engineering? Apply for Summer Boost: Technology and Business Models of Autonomous Ships to develop and apply your expertise in cutting-edge marine applications.

In May a few short intensive teaching periods will take place in Turku. Be prepared to take part in lectures on Fridays in May! During the summer you’ll be engaged in a group assignment building a concept for an autonomous ship, which you’ll get to present at the Final Gala  “Shark tank” in August.

Best of all – you’ll have the possibility to study whether you’ll be spending your summer working or otherwise – the summer school is designed to be compatible with summer jobs.

Summer Boost is coordinated by Aalto University and is arranged as a part of the network university FITech.

The Summer Program includes:

  • Intensive workshops and lectures in May, ½ day per week (check out the timetable)
  • Distance learning: Assignments, ongoing mentoring and networking activities in June – August
  • Final Gala Shark Tank 24th August in Turku

FITech Summer Boost provides you with:

  • A lecture series by top professors of their fields from different FITech Universities.
  • Visiting lecturers and close cooperation with companies of the field such as Meyer Turku, Rolls-Royce, and Wärtsilä.
  • Opportunity to utilize the latest insight in the field in your projects.
  • Learning by doing.
  • 10 ECTS during period V and summer.
  • Possibility to earn credits while working in a paid job.
  • Business connections with companies to boost your carrier.

Course Structure

Part I: (4.5.- 1.6.) Lectures ½ day per week in Turku and recreational activities with the other students
Part II: (2.6. – 23.8.) Distance learning opportunity - Group work in which the autonomous ship M/S FITech is developed. Assignments & feedback, exam and training for gala. Recreational activities with the other students continues.
24.8. Gala – Shark Tank – review session in Turku. Pitching your group work to the business representatives and stakeholders.

Summer Boost is conducted in close cooperation with companies.

How to become the next FITech Summer Boost student?

FITech Summer Boost is suitable for all students studying at any FITech university*. Summer Boost is designed primarily for students from study year III onwards. FITech Summer Boost is a great fit for students of different backgrounds, for instance Information Technology and Autonomous systems, Cleantech, Electrical engineering, Industrial Design, User-oriented Design and Architecture, Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management.

We will select a maximum of 40 students to the first round. Students will be informed at the 23.4.2018 whether they are qualified or not.

Program  

Aalto University Information Technology Program (ITP) is an academic summer program taught at the Aalto University School of Business. We bring students together from diverse backgrounds and all around the world to solve digital business problems. ITP is open to all students enrolled in Finnish universities under the JOO agreement and to students from Aalto partner universities.

The first application period for ITP 2018 is open until January 31. The second application period is open 5.–23.3.2018.

Digital Business Master Class

Digital Business Master Class is an Interactive and fast-paced graduate level summer course (6 ECTS) focusing on digital technologies as tools for building businesses. We learn how companies transform their processes and systems by implementing digital technologies. The Master Class (6 ECTS) includes viewpoints to the Finnish digital business landscape and companies through industry lecturers and company visits. Lectures by Aalto faculty, visiting faculty and industry professionals.

Stanford University International Summer School

Advanced bachelor’s/beginning master’s students at Aalto University have an excellent opportunity to apply for Stanford Summer Session International Honors Program (IHP) during the summer 2018: 23 June – 19 August.

Aalto University, in conjunction with SSIHP, will provide a maximum of six full scholarships. The aim is to support the participation of one Aalto student from each School provided that suitable candidates can be found. The Summer Honors Program is only available for students of Stanford’s partner universities.

Aalto students can apply to the Stanford Summer Session 2018 from 15 Dec until 15 Jan.

  Aalto Schools make the preliminary selection of the candidates and the top candidates are invited for an interview. The selection is based on the personal statement, study plan and academic record. The aim is to have one candidate from each School. The interviews have a very important role in the final decision.
