Would you like to meet local people? Travel to new destinations? Teach Finnish pupils about your home country?

The programme is designed to help incoming exchange students and international degree students get acquainted with Finnish school life and simultaneously increase Finnish pupils’ knowledge about foreign countries and cultures.

During your school visit you can work as a teacher's helper, carry out a project with a class, give a lecture on your home country or take part in a theme day organized by the local school. The visits last from 2-3 hours up to an entire (or several) school day(s) and can be conducted in any class according to your and the school’s preferences. After the visit you will receive a certificate on your participation and a reimbursement on your travels if you travelled outside your home town.

The Erasmus in Schools programme is coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
