Theory meets practice at the School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Our school focuses on learning by means of practical assignments and projects.
In your Study Plan / Learning Agreement you are required to choose the courses you would like to take during your exchange. This is a preliminary plan, as the final registration to courses takes place after you have arrived, and therefore you might have to change your study plan once you will start your studies and get more information on the current course availability. Most of our courses lectured in English are on Master's level. On Bachelor's level the number of courses in English is very limited.
You should primarily choose courses provived by the study programme you are applying for. In addition to these courses, there are some other options available (see below). When planning your studies, note that the academic periods I and II are in autumn term, and the academic periods III,IV and V in spring term. You can search for courses at WebOodi where it is possible to browse the course descriptions without logging in. Full workload for an academic year is 60 ECTS.
