Master’s Programme in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences (CCIS) is jointly organized by the School of Science (SCI) and the School of Electrical Engineering (ELEC). The programme is coordinated by the School of Science. That is why some policies vary, and there are two policies presented on the subpages. The school that organizes the major is mentioned on the page of the major under Curriculum.

The programme merges all the ICT related education in Aalto University under 9 majors. This site contains the student study guide for the master’s programme with materials and instructions on all the majors available in the programme. The Degree Programme Committee is responsible for the development of the programme along with general development initiatives at the School of Electrical Engineering and at the School of Science. The programme committee has student representatives ("hallopeds") who are recruited yearly by the AYY. 

By becoming a student representative, you can take part in the programme development. You can also contact the current representatives to put forward proposals and to give feedback. Through course feedback and study wellbeing survey (for first year MSc students) you can also influence teaching practices and programme management.
